American Creed: A Musical Radio Show (available on YouTube)

American Creed is an original musical that entertainingly shares the facts about the founding moral values of the United States of America that promise liberty and justice for all. And what better way to do that than in an American Medicine Show selling “cures” for all our ills? This play within a play speaks to all ages and affiliations as it skillfully represents patriotic elements and necessary subversive ones. Written for professional stages, the dialog for this performance was recorded over Zoom by the Westside Waldorf School’s 8th grade during its Spring 2020 pandemic school closure. Psalm 100 was also recorded by the students, but Zoom posed a challenge for the other songs, so included are rehearsal tracks and those of other artists. Step up and enjoy the show! (More info.)

Magnifico! The Musical: Lorenzo de’ Medici & the Birth of the Renaissance

Just one night at Villa Careggi shapes the world we know today, as Lorenzo de’ Medici and philosopher Marsilio Ficino bring together those among the most influential in the world–Michelangelo Buonarroti, Leonardo Da Vinci, Cassandra Fedele, Niccolo Machiavelli, Amerigo Vespucci,  and more–to discuss love, life, and the course of humankind.

Their wide-ranging discussion will shape the course of history, but will they get it all right? And what was lost along the way of history that we can take back to claim our world in beautiful new ways? (More info.)
